KEEN.dry is a waterproof system made by KEEN, described as “a waterproof system that breathes.” This technology protects peoples’ feet from getting wet by blocking water from entering the shoe. However, it still allows air to move through the shoe so your feet get the right amount of ventilation that they need. This is one of the better aspects of the KEEN shoes women love.
As mentioned on the front page of this site, KEEN is dedicated to being as green as they possibly can in an effort to protect the environment. This is shown by the fact that many of the KEEN shoes for women contain cork as one of their materials. This is good for the environment because cork is a renewable resource, but it also provides tons of comfort and shock resistance. Cork has the ability to reduce the impact on your feet, and that is also one of the reasons that it’s implemented into many of these products.
One more great feature of the KEEN shoes women line is KEEN.warm, which is used for women’s’ boots. This technology provides an incredible amount of insulation, so that your feet stay warm no matter how cold the weather is. This insulation is provided by a material called charcoal bamboo, which is very lightweight also. This allows for a fairly light boot that insulates very well so your feet stay comfortably warm.
